Parade Theme: Buffalo Bill and the Wild West Show
We are Unit #8
Meet: North end of MUD grounds, corner of Pershing Drive and Dick CollinsBlvd.
Time: Arrive anytime after 10am to saddle up
Ride: 11:45am we will ride south to Miller Park along Pershing Drive and
Minne Lusa Blvd We should arrive at Miller Park approx ½ hr before parade start time of 1PM Attire: Since the parade theme has an old west flavor, we will dress up as
cowboys, cowgirls and Indians no guns please! Safety helmets are welcome.We will not use our clubs blanket covers and leg wraps. We will use our flags. Horses: Clean and well groomed. You may costume your horse as long as items are safe and wont spook your horse or other Bring: Water for you and your horse, snacks, rain gear.
As always, SAFETY is of utmost importance. This is not the time to break a horse in to noisy activities, or costume/gear that will cause them to stress and spook. Adults are welcome to walk alongside and lead a younger riders horse. We will ride in pairs along the parade route on 30th St.
Please do not ride or take your horse out of line for audience to pet or
touch. Parade committee asks that we do not toss candy or other items to parade audience, and that we stay in a group at Miller Park and treat the grass gently.Please call me if you have questions. Look forward to seeing all of you
